The period action drama film is written and directed by Venu Udugula, and produced by D. Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri. The film also stars Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Zarina Wahab, Easwari Rao, and Sai Chand play supporting roles.
The plot revolves around Naxalite movement that took place in Telangana region in the 1990s. The trailer is intense and doesn’t bite on the stark reality of locals who are pushed into picking up the gun and going against the authorities.
The film has music composed by Suresh Bobbili with cinematography by Dani Sanchez-Lopez and Divakar Mani. Initially scheduled to release on 30 April 2021, it has been postponed due to the COVID-19 situation in India.
It is scheduled to release theatrically on 17 June 2022.
