Felt Like Begum Of Bhopal Says Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya

Mumbai, 30th April 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Popular actress Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya who turned muse for designer Mumtaz Khan for the indigenous collection at Bombay Times Fashion week says she truly felt like Begum Of Bhopal.

 

Talking to NewsHelpline on the sidelines of BTFW, Divyanka Tripathi said, “It truly feels like that I am the Begum of Bhopal, all thanks to entire team, this dress is so beautiful and stunning. I am so happy to represent this entire collection which is hand-made. The material and color, everything is handmade, especially in this time where everything is automated and we’re so used to fast-forward clothing, and constantly changing wardrobe, this is a collection which needed to keep in your closest” 

 

Divyanka featured the piece that showcase the detailed weaves and zardozi work of Bhopal. The collection will have an array of diverse pieces made with fabrics ranging from rich Modhal silk to luxurious Madhru and crepe.

 

Her hand-made bejeweled crown made headlines, talking about it, Divyaka said, “When the team approached me with the idea, and told me I will be the Begum of Bhopal, I sat down and researched it, and found out, the Begum wore a Crown, and I had the team hand-crafted a designer crown for me” 

 

Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya is known for playing Vidya Pratap Singh in Zee TV's Banoo Main Teri Dulhann and Dr. Ishita Iyer Bhalla in Star Plus's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. 

 

In 2017, participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 8 and emerged as the winner. In 2021, she participated at Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 as a contestant where she emerged as the runner-up
