Thiruvananthapuram, April 12 (SocialNews.XYZ) A top Kerala bureaucrat who was moved out from a key post after he wrote a letter to Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan which angered him and he went to the extent of refusing to sign the Governor's address, was brought back on Tuesday.
A note from Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's office on the reshuffle of top IAS officers showed that K.R. Jyothilal who was moved out as general administration secretary (GAD) on February 17 has been brought back to the same post.
The GAD is one of the most powerful departments and is always under the Chief Minister.
Khan created a problem for the Vijayan government when the controversy surrounding the appointment of senior journalist Hari S. Kartha, who is also a state BJP committee member in Khan's office, surfaced.
Khan became furious after a letter from Jyothilal, which cleared the appointment of Kartha, had a mention that such an appointment is being made for the first time.
To placate Khan, Jyothilal was moved out and only then did he sign the Governor's address.
Reacting to the turn of events Khan on Tuesday said that he is not someone who keeps a grudge and he has nothing against the official being brought back after the circumstances of what happened were explained to him..
