T-Series Films official handle announced the film. It said, “We are thrilled to announce that @taapsee & #BhushanKumar join hands once again for #SudhirMishra's directorial in our upcoming anthology of films in association with @AnubhavSinhaa. @BenarasMediaworks”
Excited about the project, Taapsee took to her social media profile and dropped a story. It read, “Re-uniting with @anubhavsinhaa and #BhushanKumar in an anthology film helmed by brilliant director #SudhirMishra. Can’t wait to start on this one!”
Producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, too, expressed his happiness on being associated with the film.

Blurr is debut project of Taapsee as producer, it is helmed by Ajay Bahl and jointly produced by Zee Studios, Outsiders Films and Echelon Productions. The film features Taapsee Pannu and Gulshan Devaiah in the leading roles. The film is the official Hindi remake of Spanish film Julia's Eyes
