Nikita Rawal was recently awarded at the Maharashtra Gaurav Awards for her contribution to society during the pandemic

Nikita has had a long-standing association with social work. Her best came when society needed her the most. She is not just an actress and an entertainer but a true stateswoman and a friend of the society. She stood by people in need and we are not surprised that she received the Maharashtra Gaurav Award in the presence of honorable Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari Ji. Nikita is an elated girl. She is inspired to do more for the people and she has inspired us all to do our bit in whatever way that is possible for us. This is a proud moment for her and her family and we congratulate her wholeheartedly.

Here is what Nikita says, " I am extremely happy for this award and this goes right up there. We as a nation have seen a very difficult time and it was important for all of us to come together to help one another during dire situations. I did whatever I could and I was determined to help every single one of them that I could. It's such an honor and it's been a long journey. I promise I would continue to work for society and my people. I hope we all help one another. The pandemic has taught us one thing for sure time is limited. We never know when we would be past tense. So let's love a little more, share a little more, and help each other a little more. Huge thanks to the government of Maharashtra and all the esteemed personalities who graced the occasion."
