Lyricist-singer Kasarla Shyam who rose to fame with Allu Arjun’s chartbuster song ‘Ramulo Ramula from “Ala Vaikunthapurramloo” (2020), has generated a strong buzz in recent times in Tollywood. Writing folk-inspired songs that are fully laced with Telangana flavour, the lyricist hailing from Hanamkonda in Warangal, has earned his own place. 

 

With catchy lyrics that blend folk beats, he stepped into content that is rooted, authentic & raw and stepped away from lyrics generic in nature. This unique identity has brought him into focus now in the mainstream Telugu films.

While the soulful folk songs penned by Kasarla Shyam in Telugu cinema have become chartbusters, many of his rustic songs with tunes hitting just right are the fast-paced dance numbers now.
