Nandamuri Balakrishna is an actor who believes he should be completely uninhibited for his roles. Known for his powerhouse mass performances, but if the situation demands him to play inspiring roles, he pushes himself beyond his limits. Crossing many boundaries that other actors may hesitate to tread, Nandamuri Balakrishna has done the extraordinary in “Akhanda” playing the Aghora role. There is an important message that the movie gives out to society and the younger generation, apart from being known for its high-octane outstanding scenes.

While the first half of the movie gives elevations to mass scenes and dialogues, Balakrishna’s Aghora character forms the best part in the second.

Importance of temples and Gods

The film is also a saffron roar from Nandamuri Balakrishna on the importance of Hindu temples, the science behind the construction of temples, and the need to safeguard them now.

Balakrishna’s dialogues about Hindu dharma and Lord Shiva demand your attention completely. He is amazing when he explains the aspects that our ancestors considered while building temples, which are cultural and wisdom hubs for Hindus. The movie is also significant for its strong message on the shastras and the importance of different Gods.

This film glorifying Hindu dharma, Hindutva, and Lord Shiva is a treat to watch. To sum up the movie, here is Balayya’s dialogue to the officer - “Fighting for Dharma is more noble than Ahimsa itself.’

The message from the movie

Giving out a good message to society, the plot of the movie says those who are destroying valuable resources by indulging in illegal mining for invaluable products, are committing heavy damage to mother earth.

The consequences of interfering with nature for own benefit are impossible to tolerate. And that, if nature is destroyed, it must destroy humanity in any form, in any age. Maybe, this is the reason why many Yogis and Siddhas have been worshipping nature due to mankind’s interference with it.

Receiving the knowledge given by nature and relying on energy in the orthodox dharma, we can give a great golden future to the coming generations if sacred virtues are practiced, the movie says. Remember this Balakrishna dialogue: "Even the mother earth will not forgive you if you behave beyond the limits.”
