Looks like fans of SS Rajamouli need to wait a little longer for the trailer of forthcoming RRR, starring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR. The makers of the film were planning to release the first official trailer on the 3rd December but due to unforeseen circumstances it’s been delayed.
The official handle of RRR Movie just confirmed the delay on social media, it tweeted, “Due to unforeseen circumstances we aren’t releasing the #RRRTrailer on December 3rd. We will announce the new date very soon”
The fictional period drama set around the time of British ear, it chornicles the tale of two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively.
The film also stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris while Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson and Shriya Saran play supporting roles. It is bankrolled by DVV Entertainments.
Set in 1920, the plot explores the undocumented period in their lives when both the revolutionaries choose to go into oblivion before they began the fight for their country.
Made on a budget of 400 crore, the film was initially scheduled for theatrical release on 30 July 2020, which has been deferred due to production delays and followed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the film is scheduled to be released theatrically on 7 January 2022.
