Relevant Issues Has Been Raised In Illegal Season 2 Says Satyadeep Misra

Actor Satyadeep Misra says that the second season of Illegal is designed to raise relevant issues and debates to establish connect with audience.

The team of Illegal Season 2 hosted a promotional event in Mumbai, entire ensemble such as Neha Sharma, Piyush Mishra, Akshay Oberoi, Satyadeep Misra, Tanuj Virwani and Parul Gulati interacted with Newshelpline about the show and their characters.

Satyadeep Misra plays the role of Puneet in the series; he is a lawyer and voice of reasoning amidst all the chaos.

We asked Satyadeep about his character in the new season, he said, “With new season, new storyline come new challenges, my character has started his own firm and he is busy arranging things for everyone. So my entire journey in the show is revolving around establishing the new firm”

When asked about the storyline of the show, Satyadeep added, “Relevant issues that we read about, you would find them in the show, things that people talk about on social media and other places, that’s how you make the show engaging by bringing in the points of discussions which are being discussed all around. Hopefully that will bring some sort of connect with the audience”

Further adding, Satyadeep said there is no villain in the story, all the character operates from a gray area. He said, “Our mentor is on the opposing side, and we’re on the one side, plus our mentor is politically connected, see he is not villain as such, a lawyer is allowed to represent anyone he wants, it’s just the question of prospective”

The sequel to Illegal has been directed by Ashwini Chaudhary, story and screenplay is written by Advaita Kala, dialogues are penned by Aparna Nadig and score is composed by Salim-Sulaiman.
