Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra’s first ever outing, Hit – The First Case, a thriller remake of hit Telugu movie of the same name, finally gets a release date. It is slated for 20th May 2022 release.
The official handle of T-Series Films confirmed the deeds on the project. The film is the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster 'HIT' and is helmed by Dr Sailesh Kolanu. The film is a trilling tale of a cop who is on the trail of a missing girl. The original Telugu film starred actors Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in lead roles.
The Hindi remake has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar and Kuldeep Rathore.
Apart from the remake drama, Rajkummar Rao is also part of Badhaai Do with Bhumi Pednekar, which is directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni. The film produced by Junglee Pictures that serves as a spiritual sequel of the 2018 film Badhaai Ho.
Sanya Malhotra was last seen in Meenakshi Sundareshwar with Abhimany Dassani, helmed by Vivek Soni and produced by Dharmatic Entertainment and Netflix Originals.
