Aanand L Rai And Ayushmann Khurrana Collaborating On Action Hero

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana and filmmaker Aanand L Rai are collaborating for the third time, probably a hat-trick in the making, for an offbeat satirical action film titled 'Action Hero'.

The film will feature an artist's journey, both, in front and behind the lens. Helmed by Anirudh Iyer, the movie will be bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar's T-Series and Aanand's Colour Yellow Productions.

Ayushmann Khurrana took to his social media and dropped a video confirmation for the film. Aanand L Rai and Ayushmann earlier collaborated on 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, and 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, both the films were romcoms, so 'Action Hero' will be a new space for the actor-filmmaker duo.

Meanwhile on the work front, Ayushmann recently wrapped up shoot of Doctor G, which is helmed by Anubhuti Kashyap, also starring Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah in pivotal roles and it is based on a campus of a medical institute.

He will also be seen in 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui' directed by Abhishek Kapoor and 'Anek' directed by Anubhav Sinha.
