In all likelihood, Nani's Tuck Jagadish will be premiering on Amazon Prime Video on 10th September. Well, this seems to have landed Nani in a bit of trouble as producers' council and distributors have come down heavily on Nani and also the makers of Tuck Jagadish.
"Theatrical business isn't in the best of phases now. Releasing new films in theaters and OTT simultaneously. There is a chance that a sizable portion of the cine enthusiasts will watch films on OTT and might not step out to watch films in theaters. This isn't a good sign and it can't be encouraged," the producers council said.
Nani is now in the firing line now as Tuck Jagadish's OTT premieres date - 10th September will be clashing with that of Love Story's which is scheduled to release in theaters on the same day.
Well, there is very little Nani can do about the OTT release date of Tuck Jagadish as this call will solely be taken by the producers and Amazon Prime management.
