Bed-Ridden For Five Months With Fractured Pelvic, Actress Yashika Aannand Shares Health Update

Actress Yashika Aannand shares an update on her health, stating she suffered multiple fractures and would be bed-ridden for next five months.

Yashika, who met with a severe car accident last month, suffered major injuries and lost one of her friends in the car crash on East Coast Road in Chennai on July 24.

In her post, the actress wrote: "Health update - multiple fractures in pelvic bone and right leg fractured. I am resting post my surgeries. I won't be able to walk or stand for the next 5 months. I have been bed ridden all day and I have to pass motions on the same bed. I can't turn left or right also. I have been stiff for these many days. My back is fully injured. Luckily nothing happened to my face but this is definitely a rebirth for me, which I didn't ask for. Mentally and physically am injured. God has punished me. But this is nothing compared to what I have lost"

"Apart from all the negativity, I am grateful for all the prayers and well-wishers. Thank you for your care and love” added actress.

Earlier, Yashika Aannand dropped one more post, where she slammed people for accusing her for being drunk at the time of accident. As per media reports, Yashika hit her SUV on the divider, which caused a massive accident claiming the life of her co-passenger, her friend.

While slamming people, she wrote, “Law is same for everyone. For all the cheap people who have been spreading rumours about me being intoxicated while driving let me tell you the police confirmed we weren’t drunk at all. And if I was I would have been behind the bars and not in hospital! Fake people spreading fake news has been going on from so long. But it’s a sensitive issue. Hope you show some humanity and show some grief towards her! Even the doctor reports would say the same! These fake media channels spreading fake news for sake of viewers and subscribers! Shame on you! I’ve filled a defamation care already for running my name 2 years back. But these people can go any extent for sake of gossip”

Yashika Aannand made her acting debut with the 2016 film Kavalai Vendam. However, her breakthrough film was Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru. She has starred in movies like Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu, Maniyaar Kudumbam, Kazhugu 2 and Mookuthi Amman.
