The first official trailer of Narappa starring Venkatesh in the lead role is out and this one is as intense as the original Asuran, which is itself based on the novel Vekkai by Poomani.
The film revolves around Narappa, who is forced to flee into the forest with his younger son, Sinnabba, after Sinnabba murders an upper caste landlord to avenge his older brother’s death. And now Narappa must make more sacrifices and navigate a deeply unjust justice system to give his son a chance at future.

Helmed by Sreekanth Addala and written by Vetri Maaran, the film also stars Priyamani, Rao Ramesh, Nassar, Karthik Rathnam, Ammu Abhirami, Rajeev Kanakala
It is being jointly produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu and D. Suresh Babu under their respective banners V. Creations and Suresh Productions.
The film will be premiered on 20 July 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.
