Woh Saat Din Was Ahead Of Its Time Says Arjun Kapoor

Bankrolled by Boney Kapoor, starring Anil Kapoor in his debut role, romantic drama Woh Saat Din clocks 38 Years of its release and actor Arjun Kapoor heap praises about the film, stating it was ahead of its time.

Woh Saat Din was released in 1983, a remake of the Tamil film Andha 7 Naatkal, also starring Padmini Kolhapure and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles.

Arjun Kapoor took to his social media profile and shared a story, poster of the film and wrote, “What a film this was...So proud that Dad made a love story perhaps ahead of its time in an era dominated by action films and entertainers. #38YearsOfWoh7Din”

Woh Saat Din, the story of love, memories, sacrifice, and heartbreak was released on 23rd June 1983, embarking on the era of Anil Kapoor.

Meanwhile on the work front, Arjun Kapoor was seen in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, where he essayed the role of Pinky Dahiya, a cop. The story is of two completely different individuals, Pinkesh Dahiya and Sandeep Kaur, played by Parineeti, whose lives suddenly intertwine.

He was also seen in Sardar ka Grandson in which he played the role of Amreek Singh, a man who goes to great lengths to fulfil the last wish of his grandmother, played by Neena Gupta.

Next, Arjun will be seen in Bhoot Police alongside actors Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez.
