Saptaswa Basu’s next directorial ‘Pratidwandi’ finally get a release date. The film will have its release on 1st January 2021.
The official handle of Reliance Entertainment dropped a new poster, featuring Rudranil Ghosh and confirmed the release date. It said, “Meet Sukumar Sen - the enigmatic mathematics teacher. #Pratidwandi releasing on 1st January 2021. Directed by Saptaswa Basu. The dark thriller features Saswata Chatterjee, Rudranil Ghosh, Saurav Das, Saayoni Ghosh, Rini Ghosh, Maahi Kar, Rajdeep Sarkar and others in key roles. The movie promises to gift a nail-biting thriller to the cine lovers.
The film revolves around Saswata as Dr. Bakshi, and Rudranil as math teacher Sukumar Sen, their characters have been plotted against each other. It all starts when Dr. Bakshi’s son gets kidnapped and Sukumar becomes one of the suspects. When investigation starts it’s revealed there were few murders in the city and all are somehow connected to the investigation.
The script has been developed by Arnab Bhowmik and his team. Music will be composed by Pratik Kundu and Razz Dee.
