Enjoyed Playing My Character As Pinky In The film Ludo, Says Fatima Sana Shaikh

Actor Fatima Sana Shaikh grabbed the spotlight with her power-packed performance in ‘Dangal’ as Geeta Phogat on screen. Now the Dangal girl is all geared up with her raw and dark role of Pinky in the film Ludo. The Bhoot Police actor sharing her experience stated that it was amazing working with Anurag. And as she was portraying such a role for the first time she really enjoyed playing it. 

Fatima talking on the same further said, For the first time I have portrayed this character. My character is a little awkward and grey. So it was really fun portraying such a character. Generally, as an actor, we try to keep our character in one slog. And we keep thinking about what will be my role and how will I portray it. But working with Anurag this was not the case. Though my role as a Pinky in the film was quite raw. But it was Anurag who discovered her while I was working.  And it was he who explored her while I was shooting. And I think that this is the beauty of working with Anurag.

In the end, I realized that my character is quite simple and fearless. It was a very good experience working with Anurag. I enjoyed working so much with him that in my life I am never going to forget. I really wish if the shootings go on and on with Anurag. And don’t mind if he makes 2 or 3 films more with me.

Written and directed by Anurag Basu, Ludo features a power-packed cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Shalini Vats, Pearle Maaney, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rohit Saraf, Inayat Verma and Asha Negi.

The trailer of the movie received a thumbs up from moviegoers. The film is all set to release on Netflix, on November 12.
