Amazon Prime will now be launching an anthology of 5 Tamil Short Films which will premiere on 16th October 2020.
The official handle of Amazon Prime Video India dropped the confirmation and a small teaser on the Anthology. They tweeted, “5 of your favorite storytellers bring you 5 heartwarming stories! #PuthamPudhuKaalai, October 16. @menongautham @Sudhakongara_of @DirRajivMenon @hasinimani @karthiksubbaraj”
This news has come as a big surprise to everyone as big names are associated with the same. Big renowned directors like Gautham Vasudev Menon known for his National Award winning film 'Vaaranam Aayiram, Sudha Kongara known for her film 'Irudhi Suttru, Rajiv Menon known for his film 'Minsara Kanavu, National Award winning actress Suhasini Mani Ratnam and Karthik Subbaraj are collaborating for this one where each one will have a different story to tell.
These five directors will direct five different short stories in Tamil respectively which will be titled as 'Putham Pudhu Kaalai'.
It will premiere on Amazon Prime on 16th October 2020.
