Deepika Padukone has arrived at the Narcotics Control Bureau's office in Mumbai for questioning in the drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. The actress will be questioned today by the NCB team.
Deepika who was shooting in Goa for her upcoming film flew back to Mumbai on Thursday night along with her husband Ranveer Singh. She was summoned by the agency on Wednesday and an acknowledgment from her side was given on Thursday. Along with her other A listed actresses, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor will also be questioned today, while Rakul Preet SIngh's statement was recorded on Friday.
Deepika's manager Karishma Prakash was questioned in the case on Friday and she has been called again today for further probe. Her whatsapp chats about drugs that have been surfaced includes a name with 'D' and the agency wants to find out who this person is.
There were reports that Deepika's husband actor Ranveer Singh has requested the NCB team to give him permission to accompany her while she will be questioned as she suffers from anxiety attacks. However, the actress reached the office alone today.
While these actresses are being questioned by the NCB team, Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik remain in NCB's custody.
