Akshay Kumar visits Gurudwara in Scotland; says he felt a sense of calmness which he haven’t experienced in months

Actor Akshay Kumar, who recently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Bell Bottom’ in Scotland made a visit to local Gurudwara on Thursday. In his social media post, Akshay said that after spending some time in Gurudwara he felt sense of calmness which he hasn’t experience since last few months.

Akshay Kumar shared a picture of himself on his Instagram handle. He can be seen sitting in a red shirt and white bandana while offering prayers to God, he captioned the picture as, “Had a rather blessed morning...spent ten minutes in this Gurudwara today and counted my blessings. I feel a sense of calm I haven’t in months. #GratitudeIsTheBestAttitude #IkOnkar”

Akshay Kumar’s recent post has got around one million likes on his Instagram page.

According to news reports, Akshay Kumar decided to bend his rule of 18 years, and gave extra hours for the shoot of his upcoming film, 'Bell Bottom'. Akshay had been strictly following an eight-hour work schedule all these years.

The film is currently being shot in Scotland. Akshay Kumar was aware that quarantine upon arrival has cost 14 days of shoot, owing to which the production had taken a financial hit, he recommended double shift -- whereby, two units would shoot simultaneously.

The spy-thriller film is one of the first films to resume shooting schedule as unlock began.

‘Bell Bottom’ is directed by Ranjit M. Tewari. It is inspired by true events; the film is set in 1980s. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta Bhupathi and Huma Qureshi.

It is written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh, and scheduled to release on April 2, 2021.
