Ranchi, Sep 9 (SocialNews.XYZ) A 28-year-old labourer allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a well along with his two minor sons in a Ranchi village, police said on Wednesday.
The incident occurred at Kucchu village in Ormanjhi block of the district. The bodies were brought out of the well on Wednesday. Police said it was treating it as a suicide case.
Satyendra Mahto jumped into the well along with his son Ritwik, 4, and Nilesh Kumar, 2, after his wife Rekha Devi went to her parental house after a quarrel on Monday. He and his children were not seen by his family members since Tuesday.
Satyendra was into gambling and used to beat up his wife to pressure her to bring money from her parents, police said.
