Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli announce their pregnancy

Actor Anushka Sharma and Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli gave good news to their fans and well-wishers by announcing their pregnancy on Thursday. They also shared that they are expecting their first child in January 2021.

Taking to Instagram, Anushka posted a happy picture in which she can be seen smiling for the camera flaunting her baby bump along with her husband.

“And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021 ❤️🙏”, Anushka wrote in caption.

Virat Kohli also posted the same picture with the same caption on his Instagram account.

Within a few minutes, Virat’s post got around two million likes and Anushka’s post got around one million likes on their respective Instagram page.

Bollywood celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan Kiara Advani, Taapsee Pannu, Parineeti Chopra, Dia Mirza, Sanya Malhotra, Mouni Roy, Pooja Hedge, Samantha Akkineni, Kajal Aggarwal, Priyanka Chopra, Vaani Kapoor, Diana Penty and many others congratulated the couple for their new innings as parents.

Anushka Sharma was last seen onscreen in Anand L. Rai’s ‘Zero’ along with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif which released in 2018. Since then, she has taken a break from acting in films but she has produced a web series ‘Paatal Lok’ and a Netflix film ‘Bulbbul’ under her production house Clean Slate Films which was well received by the critics and the audience.

Virat Kohli is currently in Dubai where he will lead Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) which starts from September 19 to November 10. Virat’s wife Anushka is also accompanying him on the two month long tour.
