Bill Murray And Sofia Coppola Are Back With 'On The Rocks'

Bill Murray and Sofia Coppola are back with the bang! The two last worked together for Netflix special 'A Very Murray Christmas' in the year 2015 and now they are back with a bittersweet comedy 'On The Rocks'. The first trailer of the film got released and it promises to offer a comic adventure to the audience.

The story revolves around the life of Laura played by Rashida Jones who is living a happy married life. Suddenly she faces doubts in her marriage when her husband Dean played by Marlon Wayans starts logging late hours in his office. This makes her turn to her father played by Bill Murray and she teams up with him to investigate the situation.

What follows is a comic adventure which draws the father and the daughter together. They both discover something special about their relationship during this journey together.

The film is written and directed by Sofia Coppola and it stars Bill Murray, Marlon Wayans and Rashida Jones in lead roles. It offers a generation clash comedy and will showcase how two generations look differently at maintaining relationships. The film has been produced by Youree Henley and Sofia Coppola.

The film will be available in theaters and  on AppleTV+ this October. The final date of its release is still to be confirmed.
