Actress Alia Bhatt has shared a second song titled ‘Ishq Kamaal’ on Wednesday from her upcoming film, ‘Sadak 2, directed by her father, Mahesh Bhatt.
Sharing the song on her twitter account, Alia wrote, “Jind yaar paas, jind paas yaar Ishq kataari rok naa paaye koi bhi dhaal. Ishq Kamaal.. Video Out Now http://bit.ly/IshqKamaalVideo #IshqKamaal #Sadak2”
The song shows the romance between Alia’s character Aaraya and Aditya Roy Kapoor's character Vishal in the film, as well as a broken-hearted Ravi, played by Sanjay Dutt, mourning the loss of his wife, played by Pooja Bhatt.
In the video, Aaraya and Vishal is cuddling in Ravi’s cab. The lovebirds remind Ravi of his own love story, one that played out in the original movie, ‘Sadak’, which released in 1991. Flashback scenes from ‘Sadak’ are also peppered in the video, which show Ravi and Pooja falling for each other.
‘Ishq Kamaal’ is produced Suniljeet, who is making his Bollywood debut with the movie. The song is sung by Javed Ali and the lyrics are by Suniljeet and Shalu.
Since the release of ‘Ishq Kamaal’ on YouTube, it has got more than 1.3 millions views and 81K dislikes from the audiences. Trailer of ‘Sadak 2’ has also got more dislikes than likes on YouTube as most of the people has decided not to watch films of industry kids since the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
‘Sadak 2’ is the sequel to the 1991 film ‘Sadak’ and it will premiere on 28 August 2020 on Disney+ Hotstar.
