Bhubaneswar, Aug 18 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Special Task Force (STF) of the Odisha Crime Branch has seized brown sugar worth more than Rs 1.30 crore from a MBA student in Balasore district, Police said on Tuesday.
The STF seized the narcotics weighing 1.325 kg and arrested Sheikh Riazuddin, a MBA student, from the bus stand area in Balasore town on Monday night.
The accused is pursuing MBA in Bhubaneswar, said a STF official.
The official added that they are trying to trace the source of the brown sugar and the kingpin of the racket.
The STF has seized 16.711 kg brown sugar and arrested 41 drug peddlers so far this year.
