Subhash Ghai’s musical romantic drama ‘Taal’ clocked 21 years on Thursday. Actors Anil Kapoor reminisced about the project by sharing a video on his social media.
Taking to Instagram, Anil Kapoor shared a nine minute video which features a few scenes and songs from the film.
“Celebrating 21 Years Of Taal Part 2 @subhashghai1 @arrahman @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb #AkshayKhanna #KabirLal @tips” Kapoor captioned the video.
Released in 1999, “Taal” also featured Akshaye Khanna and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles.
More than its story, the film became popular for its music. Music maestro A R Rahman’s score for the film remains evergreen till date.
On work front, Anil Kapoor was last seen onscreen in Mohit Suri’s ‘Malang’ along with Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani and Kunal Kemmu.
He next will be seen in Karan Johar’s period drama film ‘Takht’ along with Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles.
