'Delhi Belly' till date remains one of those films that bring a refreshing change from run-of-the-mill Hindi comedy films. It was a story with the most unusual incidents but it actually did wonders for the film. The film was released on 1 July 2011 and today on the completion of 9 years of its release, actor-comedian Vir Das who was part of the film refreshes his memories.
Vir Das shared a still from the film and wrote, "9 years since this madness dropped. Still some of the most fun and hardest work I've ever seen done on a film. Whenever an idea I'm working on seems too outrageous or crazy, I remind myself that Delhi Belly exists, was made and was watched. #delhibelly"
Delhi Belly is an action comedy film that revolves around the lives of three roommates, journalist Tashi played by Imran Khan, photographer Nitin Berry played by Kunaal Roy Kapur and cartoonist Arup played by Vir Das who live in a shady apartment in Delhi.
