Actress Bhumi Pednekar plans to feed impoverished families through Ek Saath Foundation in the memory of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely and tragic demise has opened up debates and discussions on nepotism in Bollywood and also on bullying and mental pressure that young outside actors face in the industry, but actress Bhumi Pednekar has found a more constructive way to celebrate the loving memory of brilliant actor.
Bhumi Pednekar just took to her social media account and announced that she will be feeding 550 in the memory of co-star from Sonchiriya. She shared a picture message, which read, “I pledge to feed 550 impoverished families through Ek Saath Foundation in the memory of my dear friend. Let’s show compassion and love towards everyone that is in need, now more than ever”
Ek Saath is a movement that celebrates our love for nature, earth and life with acts of sustainability.
Meanwhile on the work front, Pednekar began 2020 with brief roles in the comedy-drama Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and the horror film Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship.
She will next star alongside Konkona Sen Sharma in Alankrita Shrivastava's comedy Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, and portray an Indian Administrative Service officer in Durgavati, a remake of the Telugu horror film Bhaagamathie.
Pednekar has also committed to feature alongside an ensemble cast in Johar's historical drama Takht and alongside Rajkummar Rao in Badhaai Do, a spiritual sequel to the 2018 comedy Badhaai Ho.
