Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar remembers RD Burman on his 81st Birth Anniversary, says his music will be remembered for generations.
Today, June 27 marks the 81st birth anniversary of one of the most renowned music directors, RD Burman. Popularly known as Pancham Da by his fans, the composer gifted Bollywood some soulful melodies that are still widely revered among fans.

Rahul Dev Burman a.k.a. RD Burman entered the music industry in the 1950s. It did not take Pancham Da much time to carve his niche in the industry. He has composed musical scores for almost 331 films in his illustrious career.
Meanwhile on the work front, National Award Winner filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar is venturing into regional cinema. He is bankrolling Bengali movie titled Avijatrik.
The drama is helmed by Subhrajit Mitra and co-produced by Gaurang Jalan and Madhur Bhandarkar.
