The NSUI Trended #NoExamsInCovid Today At 3pm On Twitter

Considering the fact that the coronavirus cases have been rising rapidly in India and the graph doesn't seem to flatter, it would be very unjust for the students to still appear for their examinations.

There are many universities that are still conducting examinations and students have to risk their lives to appear for these. There are numerous reports of students complaining about improper arrangements for transportation, document printing, etc. Some students even have to come from the containment zones to appear for the examinations. This hashtag was trended just within a few hours in the first position with more than 106k tweets.

The coronavirus cases have already infected 4 lakh people in India, it is high time that we realize the gravity of the situation and take decisions accordingly.

We demand that examinations for JEE Mains, NEET, CS, DBT- NET, and other such examinations be postponed. Apart from this, the universities which are conducting third years examinations cancel it and the students should be passed based on their previous examinations and a 10% increase, as most students perform better in the final year. We have also come across some universities which are conducting first and second-year examinations, we demand that their examinations should be canceled and the students should be passes based on previous results and Internal Assessment.
