The test shoot of RRR which was supposed to take place last week was cancelled as the unit felt they cannot comply with the guidelines issued by the state government.
Now, Rajamouli has decided to go ahead and take the big risk by resuming test shoot on June 25th. None of the lead cast will take part in this shoot and only minor sequences will be shoot. The shoot will go on for 2 days.
The number of Coronavirus positive cases in Telangana have been on a rise and resuming film shootings is not the wisest of options regardless of safety compliance.
That said, hundreds of crores are at stake with RRR and the onus is on Rajamouli to get things back on track. The film is scheduled to hit the silver screens during next summer.
