Coronavirus – Zimbabwe: COVID-19 update, 7th June 2020

Highlights of the situation report

  • Three (3) cases tested positive for COVID-19. These are returnees from South Africa (2), South Sudan (1) and are all isolated.
  • 107 RDT screening tests and 153 PCR diagnostic tests were done. The cumulative number of tests done to date is 52985 (31478 RDT and 21507 PCR).
  • To date the total number of confirmed cases is 282; recovered 34 active cases 244 and 4 deaths, since the onset of the outbreak on 20 March 2020.
