Moradabad, June 4 (SocialNews.XYZ) A gunner of the Samajwadi Party MLA committed suicide, here on Thursday, by shooting himself with his service gun.
Constable Manish Pratap Singh, 24, a resident of Rasoolpur village in the Bulandshahr district, was posted as gunner of Moradabad Dehat MLA Haji Ikram Quraishi.
His roommates informed the police of the incident on Thursday morning.
SP (City) Amit Kumar Anand said the constable committed suicide due to personal reasons. "The body has been sent for post-mortem. We have informed his family," the SP said.
A case of suicide has been registered at the Katghar police station. Other constables were being questioned for the clue.
