Son ready for Premier League after completing military service

London, June 3 (SocialNews.XYZ) Tottenham Hotspur winger Son Heung-min has stated he is ready for the Premier League after completing his mandatory military service last month.

He served a short time in the South Korean military after initially being given a two-year exemption for helping the country win the gold medal at 2018 Asian Games.

"I couldn't say everything that I've done but I really enjoyed it. Those guys were nice. The three weeks were tough but I tried to enjoy it," Son told SpursTV.

"The first day, we don't know each other so it's a bit weird but soon we got to know each other. We spent every day together in one room, 10 people.

"We were very close, working together, we helped each other so the time was fantastic."

Son has linked up with his Tottenham teammates as they prepare themselves for the resumption of the Premier League. It was earlier announced that England's top-flight football season will resume from June 17.

"I'm physically fine, I'm working really, really hard to be at my maximum level and it's nearly there. Everyone is back, everyone is in good shape. Everyone wants to play again and everyone is motivated," Son said.

Spurs currently occupy the eight spot in the Premier League table, having accumulated 41 points in 29 matches.
