Coronavirus – Zimbabwe: COVID-19 update, 29 May 2020

Highlights of the Situation Report

  • Eleven (11) cases totted positive for COVID-19 today. These include 9 returnees; Botswana (2) and South Africa (7) and 2 local cases who are all isolated.
  • Today 2 346 RDT screening tests and 420 PCR diagnostic tests were done. The cumulative number of tests done to date is 46 613 (26 753 RDT and 16 860 PCR).
  • To date the total number of confirmed cases is 160; recovered 29, active cases 127 and 4 deaths, since the onset of the outbreak on 20 March 2020
