The opposition Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh got a double shock on Tuesday with two MLA set to quit the party. Sambashiva Rao, who represents the Paruchuri Assembly segment, reportedly held consultations with YSRCP Energy minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy and Rajya Sabha MP Vijaysai Reddy. Another TDP MLA from Repalle Assembly constituency, Angani Satya Prasad, also held meetings with the YSRCP leaders to join the ruling party. The two MLAs are set to meet Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at the latter’s camp office on Tuesday evening to discuss a host of issues, including developmental works in their constituencies.
