Amidst all the hustle-tussle between theatre owners and digital platforms, here comes the trailer of Ponmagal Vandhal, first ever south Indian film to have a digital release.
Earlier this week, Amazon Prime Video released a list of films that are going to see a direct digital release due to the current ongoing Coronavirus crisis. Movie lovers will be able catch some of the highly-anticipated flicks on the OTT platform. The first film to be released digitally is ‘Ponmagal Vandhal’, a Tamil legal drama starring Jyotika in the lead.
Superstar husband Suriya Sivakumar dropped the trailer of the film on his social media profile. The intense court-room drama is written and directed by JJ Fredrick and produced by Suriya and Rajsekar Karpoorasundarapandian.
Actress Jyotika is playing the role of a lawyer in the much-awaited film. The film also stars K. Bhagyaraj, R. Parthiban and Pandiarajan in pivotal roles.
The flick will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime from May 29.
