Rest In Peace My Dear Friend Irrfan Khan Says Deepika Padukone

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone took to her social media profile and wrote a heart-felt poem for late actor Irrfan Khan, as their movie Piku clocks 5 years.

Deepika took to her social media profile and shared an unseen BTS picture from the film ’Piku’, as her film today completed 5 years. It was on 8th May 2015 her film got released. The actress at the same time remembering her co-star and her dear friend Irrfan Khan shared a heartfelt poem in Hindi and wrote, Rest in Peace, my Dear Friend.

Irrfan Khan who was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in 2018, died on 29 April 2020, due to colon infection. He was 53.

Helmed by Shoojit Sircar, 'Piku' also featured Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role. Irrfan played the role of Rana Chaudhary, who runs a cab service in Delhi and that's how he comes in Piku aka Deepika and her father's life.
