After unveiling the first official trailer of Paatal Lok, actor Anushka Sharma drops the first look posters of main lead from the thriller series, which marks her debut into digital space.
Anushka Sharma has forayed into the digital world with the forthcoming thriller series Paatal Lok, under her home banner Clean Slate Films. The actress dropped five new posters from the series. The series stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Kabi, Abhishek Banerjee, Gul Panag, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Swastika Mukherjee, Jagjeet Sandhu, Vipin Sharma and Ishwak Singh, among others, will be seen playing pivotal roles in the series.
The series is created by Sudip Sharma, who is also the mind behind hits like Udta Punjab and NH10. The series is inspired by the three realms described in Indian mythology namely Swarg Lok, which means heaven, Dharti Lok which means Earth and Paatal Lok which represents the netherworld.
Paatal Lok aims to showcase a society intertwined in a heinous web of lies, crime and violence while also being divided by class. It’s almost as if humanity is dead and hell has broken loose, thanks to the dark and sinister bylanes of human immorality.
The nine episodes series will release on Amazon Prime Video on 15 May 2020.
