Corona effect: Change of plans for Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’

Sukumar had planned to can his upcoming film with Allu Arjun, 'Pushpa' on a grand scale. The unit was set to leave to Thailand to shoot some crucial episodes in the film. However, the Coronavirus outbreak has indefinitely disturbed the plans of the makers.

Now, Sukumar is willing to cut down the expenses, given the imminent effect of Coronavirus on Tollywood, as a whole. The plans of roping in foreign fight masters for 'Pushpa' now stand cancelled.

It is still unclear if the unit will be canning major portions of the film in India or abroad. Given the fact that acquiring visas will not be the easiest of tasks, it is safe to assume that much of the film will be shot in dense forests in India.

'Pushpa' is a raw and intense action entertainer based on red sandalwood smuggling backdrop. Allu Arjun will be seen as a lorry driver and Rashmika Mandanna is pairing up with him.
