‘83’ Will Have Theatrical Release, Not OTT – CONFIRMED

The whole country is living under lockdown regulations due to coronavirus pandemic. As the people are in complete house arrest OTT consumption has increased nowadays. Recently Bollywood movie ‘83’ the most awaited film of the year 2020 came under the wraps of rumors. There were speculations that the movie will first release on the OTT platform before theatrical release. Announcing officially trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his twitter handle and shared that the film will release in theatres when the time is appropriate.

‘83’ is Deepika and Ranveer’s first movie together after their marriage. For the 4th time, they will be seen as man and wife. The duo has worked together previously in films like ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmaavat’.

‘83’ is an upcoming sports drama the film directed by Kabir Khan and jointly produced by Khan, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Phantom Films, Deepika Padukone and Sajid Nadiadwala. Co-distributed by Reliance Entertainment. The film stars Ranveer Singh as cricketer Kapil Dev, along with Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Jiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya, and Sahil Khattar.

Although it was scheduled for theatrical release on 10 April 2020, the release has been postponed due to coronavirus pandemic.
