Netflix dropped the first look of their next original from India Mrs. Serial Killer on 16 April, 2020 and it left the audience awestruck. Today the trailer of the film was released starring Jacqueline Fernandes, Manoj Vajpayee and Mohit Raina and we must say Jacqueline completely stole the show.
Netflix India released the trailer on their twitter account and wrote, "Love. murder and @Asli_Jacqueline killing it as always. The trailer for Mrs. Serial Killer is here! @BajpayeeManoj @mohituraina @ShirishKunder"
The film revolves around the life of a doting wife whose husband is framed and jailed for serial murders, She gets determined to prove her husband innocent and therefore must perform a murder exactly like the serial killer to prove that. The trailer of the film depicts the complete storyline and it surely promises some of the stellar performances by Jacqueline, Manoj Vajpayee and Mohit Raina.
Though nothing major could be seen of Vajpayee's role from the trailer, Jacqueline completely outshines in her digital debut. She beautifully shows her emotions as a doting wife as well as her angst can be seen when her husband is framed and jailed. Mohit Raina is a gem of an actor and he promises to prove that once again through the film.
Jacqueline was last seen in a music video Genda Phool with Baadhshah. Mohit Raina was last seen in crime mini-series Bhaukaal and Manoj Vajpayee' s last work was Amazon spy series The Family Man.
Directed by Shirish Kunder and Produced by Farah Khan, Mrs. Serial Killer is the fifth Indian original by Netflix in 2020. Amir Khan's niece Zayne Maria makes her acting debut with the film.
The film is set to be released on May 1 on Netflix in India and around the world with a runtime of 1 hour and 46 minutes.
