Katrina Kaif And Sanjay Leela Bhansali Collaborating For Gangubai Kathiawadi ?

Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif might get her dream collaboration come true with forthcoming period drama Gangubai Kathiawadi, as the news is viral that filmmaker and actress are in talks to collaborate for a song in the film.

Recently, Katrina Kaif was seen visiting the director's office on Friday. And now, the reports suggest that she will be seen showing her killer dance moves in a lavish dance number in Bhansali's upcoming period drama, 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'.

Katrina has given some of the best dance numbers with the songs like Chikni Chameli, Sheila ki Jawaani, Kala Chashma, Kamli and this collaboration will surely add another blockbuster number to her list of hit songs.

SLB is known for his larger than life scale in films and this song will also be a lavishly mounted dance number. Any more details about the same have not been disclosed.

Couple of days back Alia Bhatt, who is playing the title role in the film shared her looks from the film which was praised by the Bollywood fraternity.  While Alia will be portraying Gangubai, actors like Shantanu Maheshwari and Vijay Raaz will also be seen in the film.

Coming back to Gangubai, the film is inspired by a chapter from the book 'Mafia Queens Of Mumbai' which is based on the life of Gangubai. She was pushed into prostitution at a very young age and became the most influential pimp from the red light areas, Kamathipura in Mumbai.

The film is being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is also a co-producing it Jayantilal Gada Of Pen India Ltd.

The film is set to hit the screens on 11th September, 2020.
