The makers of Bhoot Part 1 – The Haunted Ship organized a special screening of the film last night in Mumbai, and now the B-town is going over the film. Celebrities such as filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, actress Human Qureshi and Nushrat Bharucha and more took to their social media profile and praised the film.
Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship is helmed by Bhanu Pratap Singh and it marks the first ever horror outing for Dharma Productions. The film is based on a true accident that took place in Mumbai, and tells the story of a couple on an abandoned ship lying static on a beach.
Actress Huma Qureshi took to her social media profile and wrote, “This is the best Indian horror film I’ve seen!! #BhootTheHauntedShip is scary and cool all rolled into one!! @Bps_91 what a debut sir!! Actress Nushrat Bharucha wrote a lengthy post, praising everyone. She wrote, “Saw #Bhoot last night & OH MY GOD, I have screamed out loud in the theater! People around me were screaming! By far the scariest Hindi movie I’ve seen in a while, it really does shake you right out of your chair & make your popcorn fall over the place! @DharmaMovies a brave move turning DARK! The film features Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Ashutosh Rana in lead roles, and is the first film of a planned horror film franchise.
It is scheduled to be theatrically released in India on February 21, 2020.
