​Richa Chadha’s First Look As A Kabbadi Player From Panga

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directorial Panga, is a story which is rooted in the subculture of societal facts, the film is an emotional roller coaster tale of a middle-class Indian woman; a forgotten kabaddi world champion who catalyzes an inner desire to give a new meaning to her existing role as a wife and mother and takes an ingenious decision to come back to the sport despite the challenges of age stereotypes and a new generation complexities which creates an upheaval in her life as she is torn between family responsibility and love for the sport.

In one of the most anticipated upcoming films, Panga, Richa Chadha plays the role of a Kabbadi player. Her character Meenu plays Kangana Ranaut’s on-screen friend. Her character is that of a woman who’s empowered and chosen a life for herself where she chooses her career in the sport. The actress had to train extensively for the role and even had to sport a shorter hairdo in the film.

Panga is produced by Fox Star Studios. The film features Kangana Ranaut, Jassi Gill, Richa Chadda, Neena Gupta and Yagya Bhasin. The story depicts the jovial life of a kabaddi player.

The film is set to theatrically release in India on 24 January 2020.
