After teasing the fans with working stills, training videos, logo poster of the sports biopic, 83 The Film, actor Ranveer Singh just took to his social media profile and dropped the first look poster of Tahir Raj Bhasin in the role of Sunil Gavaskar.
'83 is an upcoming biographical sports drama film directed by Kabir Khan and jointly produced by Khan, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Madhu Mantena, Deepika Padukone and Sajid Nadiadwala. The story narrates Dev's journey of life as well as how he became the captain of the India national cricket team and won the 1983 Cricket World Cup.

Mardaani famed actor Tahir Raj Bhasin will be seen playing Legendary Indian Cricketer Sunil Gavaskar, who played a smashing inning in 83, which led Indian cricket team rush to victory.
The film also stars Saqib Saleem as Mohinder Amarnath, Ammy Virk as Balwinder Sandhu, Jiiva as Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Sahil Khattar as Syed Kirmani, Dinker Sharma as Kirti Azad, Jatin Sarna as Yashpal Sharma, Vijay Varma as Roger Binny, Chirag Patil as Sandeep Patil, Adinath Kothare as Dilip Vengsarkar, Dhairya Karwa as Ravi Shastri, Harrdy Sandhu as Madan Lal, R Badree as Sunil Valson and Pankaj Tripathi as PR Man Singh.
The film will be theatrically released in India on 10 April 2020, along with dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu languages.
