Today marks the 95th Birth Anniversary of late actor Raj Kapoor, who has probably laid the foundation of Modern day Bollywood. A noted actor, a prolific filmmaker and producer, is the most revered figure of Indian Cinema.

Raj Kapoor died of complications related to asthma at the age of 63 in 1988. He is best known for his roles in Awaara, Shree 420, Jagte Raho, Neel Kamal, Andaz, Jis Desh Men Ganga Behti Hai, and many more.
