Chiranjeevi reveals why Charan did not act in Sye Raa

Speaking at an interview, Chiranjeevi said that Ram Charan was initially interested in playing a key role in this film.

According to the plot, this character will confront Narasimha Reddy and eventually face death. The movie unit opined that Charan playing a character that will confront Chiranjeevi in the film might not go well with mega fans.

Chiranjeevi revealed that the audience might find it off-putting to see the character that is played by Charan being killed in the film and that is the reason why they opted not to rope in the mega hero, who is also the producer of the film.
