The early estimates of Prabhas starrer Saaho worldwide opening day gross will be a sure shot 100 Crores plus. The all-India opening gross of 100 crores is also a possibility. Saaho will now hold Non-Baahubali 2 opening day record.
The initial estimate for Saaho Hindi version for day one in India is 24 crores. The movie is expected to collect a gross of 60 crores in Telugu states. The rest of Indian states may add another 15-20 crores to the total.
This is a huge achievement by Prabhas and Saaho team considering the disaster talk and reviews it garnered. It remains to be seen how the film goes over the weekend with such a big start and mixed talk.
Given the costs involved the movie has to do extremely well from here on to recover. The movie needs to collect close to 600 crores gross to be called a safe project. Though the movie had a good opening at the domestic circuit it may be looking towards a disaster at overseas market especially in the USA.
The movie needs to collect 6.5 million USD to be safe but the box office pundits estimate it to end up between 2.5 million to 3 million USD looking at the current trends.
