Today, Kia Motors launched their first car variant, Seltos, which was manufactured in the company-owned plant in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
Interestingly, Chandrababu Naidu enjoyed all the spotlight on social media as he was the one who invited the Korean automobile company to establish its plant in Andhra Pradesh during his tenure. The plant began its operations in the year 2017.
Twitter was flooded with "#ThankYouCBNForKia" hashtags and it went on to become a nationwide trend.
The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy did not attend the launch event, owing to his tight schedule.
